Elise is from Clermont County located in lovely southwest Ohio. She took her first chemistry class sophomore year of high school and fell in love with the subject, especially the math aspect of it! Coming in her first year, she started out with a public service minor because she loved the policy classes involved; however, after taking calculus 1, she realized that she loved math and the thinking and reasoning that comes along with the subject, so she changed to a math minor. After graduating, she has plans to pursue graduate school focused in chemistry. Afterwards, she'd love to become a professor or work with legislators on public policy. On-campus, she's involved in ECOS, SAACS, and undergraduate research, as well as being a PLUS tutor and Supplemental Instructor for General Chemistry.
