The Art of Nature Exploration Camp

For rising 7th - 9th graders

This week of adventure will find summer campers grades 7-9 exploring the diversity of nature by making field collections and observations of animals and plants and documenting them in both art and writing. We’ll be locating incredible insects, amazing amphibians, fantastic fish, and more from wild habitats. Camp explorers will learn the biology of these animals, and then describe them in words and art. There’s no nature deficit in this camp, as most of the discoveries are in the 150 acres of pristine wetlands and upland woods habitat associated with the ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ Research and Education Field Station (REFS) in Melbourne, KY.
