Instructions & Deadlines
Before submitting a print request, please read the following:
CINSAM will not reprint posters. Submitters are required to ensure that the poster files are error-free when submitted to CINSAM.
Submissions will not be accepted by email, flash-drive, or from students.
For small events, submissions must be received at least 48-hours prior to when the poster is needed. (Weekends, holidays, and other university closures are not counted in the 48-hours.)
For large events, more time is needed for printing. In these cases, CINSAM will publish earlier deadlines. Large events include (but are not limited to):
ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ Celebration of Student Research and Creativity
Heather Bullen Summer Research Celebration
Kentucky Academy of Science Annual Meeting
Late print requests may be accepted if capacity allows, but fulfillment is not guaranteed. In such a case, the requestor would need to find another printing source.
Create the poster in PowerPoint and set the page dimensions to 36" x 48" (H x W).
Save the file as a PDF document, using the following naming convention:
"<faculty last name & first initial>-<event name>-<student last name & first inital>"
(Example: SmithJ-BullenCelebration-WalkerM)
Submit the poster document to your research faculty advisor for review and approval. Make final changes (if applicable) based on faculty feedback and submit the final document back to the faculty member.
