The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs provides oversight for 78 bachelor’s degrees, 23 master’s degrees, three doctorates, and a full array of programs and services that enhance student sense of belonging, well-being, and academic and post-graduation success.

Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the home page of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. This office provides oversight for the full complement of ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥'s academic programs and support services. Our primary purpose is to support the success of faculty and students who are engaged in the central mission of ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥, "providing innovative, student-centered education and engaging in impactful scholarly and creative endeavors, all of which empower our graduates to have fulfilling careers and meaningful lives, while contributing to the economic, civic, and social vitality of the region."

Reporting to this office are the deans of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Haile College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Informatics, the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, the College of Health and Human Services, the Honors College, Student Engagement and Inclusiveness, and Student Conduct and Wellness. I am justifiably proud of ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥'s many excellent academic programs and especially the fine faculty and staff we have assembled to fulfill our mission. These are people who are committed to teaching, scholarly and creative activity, and engaging our students in shared learning experiences. Our primary purpose is to support the success of faculty and students who are engaged in the central mission of ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥: sound academic preparation of our students for a lifetime of learning, professional achievement, personal satisfaction, and public engagement.

Black Faculty and Staff Association

Under the umbrella of the Office of Inclusive Excellence, the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) is an ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ organization focused on the personal and professional growth and development of its members, as well as be a forum that advocates diversity, equity and inclusion for the betterment of the ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ community as a whole.
