Students enrolled in this program are eligible to take up to four courses of pre-major and major coursework at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ while pursuing an associate degree at GCTC. Gateway2ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ students pay the GCTC tuition rate to ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ for the allotted four ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ courses. Students taking classes at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ through the program will also pay part-time student fees per credit hour. Some courses may also incur specific charges from the respective college. Students pay for their GCTC and ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ bills separately.
The four courses must be spread out over the span of several semesters. The number of courses a student is able to take at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ in a given semester is based on earned and in-progress hours. Students with 15 earned and in-progress hours are eligible to take their first course at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥. Once students have at least 30 earned and in-progress hours, they are eligible to take a second course at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥. After 45 earned and in-progress hours, students can take their last two courses. If a student has 45 or more earned and in progress hours but have yet to take any classes at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ through the Gateway2ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ program, he or she would be eligible to take two courses in the first semester of the program.
Students must never exceed the maximum of two courses at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ in any given semester through the Gateway2ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ program. Students enrolled in the Gateway2ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ program are eligible to take courses at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ that are not offered at GCTC or online through KCTCS. While enrolled in ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ courses through the program, students are not eligible to take courses at ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ above and beyond the Gateway2ÁÔÓ¥ÌåÓýÖ±²¥ program courses.
